Classic Vehicles

Lovers of classic cars and historic motor vehicles love watching Heartbeat as they try to identify makes and models. Several are used by the police as their official vehicles whilst off-duty officers and other characters make use of classic cars in their daily work. They are also used as ‘dressing’ which means they can often be seen in the background of scenes shot on location where they provide the necessary atmosphere.

The Heartbeat Railway

High on the list of nostalgic images produced by Heartbeat is the sight of a train puffing peacefully through some of England's most beautiful scenery or merely standing in Aidensfield station enveloped by smoke and steam while sounding its whistle to the delight of visitors.
